Frequently Asked Questions
An NVC Expedited Request is a written request to the NVC to fast-track your case to the U.S. Embassy, for your U.S. Embassy Appointment.
It all depends. The time frame will vary depending on each situation, but with some cases, it could be in as little as 48 hours.
Yes. But all medical records must be translated to the English language, because your medical records will be evaluated by our team of professionals.
It all depends on your medical condition, but it is typically less than $999.00.
No, but we have a high success rate.
After your NVC Expedited Request is approved, you will receive instructions to schedule your interview with the U.S. Embassy, including the next steps, prior to your U.S. Embassy interview.
If approved, then the NVC will send it directly to the U.S. Consulate overseas, and the consulate will send a notice for your interview, which will typically happen within two weeks.
Below are common statuses and what they mean:
- “At NVC”: This basically means that your file has not yet been sent to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate and is still being processed at the National Visa Center.
- “In Transit”: Good news – your case has been sent to the U.S. embassy/consulate! This status means that they have not received it yet.
- “Ready”: The U.S. Consulate/Embassy has received your file, and they are ready to schedule the interview.
Once your file is ready, then you will get an appointment for an interview at the U.S. Embassy and new you will need to schedule or register for the medical exam, attend the exam, and complete the interview.
Please note: Your U.S. Embassy interview will typically take place within a few days after your case has been granted to be expedited.
